Sr. Backend engineering internal tool in Golang managing and monitoring the CI/CD pipeline of the Docker Desktop product. More than 2M tests across multiple architectures (ARM/AMD64/x86), platforms (Win/Mac/Linux) and OS versions.

Sr. Software Engineer Red Hat Feb 2021 – May 2023

Developed the Kernel Module Management operator for Kubernetes and OpenShift using Golang. Involved in design discussions with the community and clients (Nokia, Nvidia, HP, Citibank, Intel). Contributed to an OpenShift Data Science demo using Starburst, JupyterHub and Intel OpenVINO.

Sr. Software Engineer Typeform Oct 2018 – Feb 2021

• Migrated core business domain into new Golang microservices architecture from a legacy PHP monolith
• Senior Backend Engineer in the Backend Architecture team maintaining cross-functional services and guaranteeing high-availability and monitoring of core product services.
• Team Lead of the subscriptions team — responsible for the development and architecture of the new payments service and reporting to the finance team.

Sr. Software Engineer Atrápalo Apr 2017 – Oct 2018

Led a team of seven engineers building a new PHP API to manage attendance and ticketing for events. Designed, developed and monitored core backend services including HAProxy, MySQL, queues and workers.

Started as a college final project; became a platform for managing running events (registration, race timekeeping, results). Designed, developed and offered software services to regional clubs for over 3 years. Mobile app + web platform with API backend on AWS, Docker and continuous delivery.

Software Engineer Softonic Jul 2015 – Apr 2017

Backend engineer maintaining the main PHP website serving ~30,000 concurrent users. Developed new features, improved code quality, refactored existing code, added test cases and reduced resource consumption by optimizing database queries.
